Refund Policy

1. Overview
Due to the high computational costs associated with AI image and video generation, ColorizerAI generally does not offer refunds once credits or subscription periods have been used. By purchasing credits or a subscription, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy. The exceptions described below apply at our sole discretion and in accordance with mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction.
2. Digital goods
Our services are digital products delivered electronically. A generation task is considered “consumed” as soon as it is started on our backend, regardless of whether you download or save the resulting image. Consumed credits and elapsed subscription periods are non-refundable, save for the cases set out in sections 3 and 4 below.
3. Mistaken purchases
If you purchased a credit pack or subscription by mistake and have not used any credits from that purchase, you may request a refund. To qualify:
- Contact us at goaivelo@gmail.com within 24 hours of the original transaction;
- Provide your order number, the email address used at checkout, and a brief description of the mistake;
- The credits or subscription period associated with the purchase must remain entirely unused at the time we receive your request.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on the payment provider, the refunded amount typically appears on your account within 5–15 business days.
4. Service failure
If a generation task fails due to technical issues on our side (for example, an upstream model error, an internal server fault, or extended downtime), we will, at our discretion:
- Re-credit your account for the affected task (this is the default outcome and is typically applied automatically by our upstream refund hooks); or
- Issue a partial monetary refund for the affected portion of a credit pack or subscription, where re-crediting is not appropriate.
Failures caused by unsupported input, content that violates our Terms of Service, network issues on your side, or factors outside our reasonable control (e.g. third-party outages you elected to integrate with) are not considered service failures and do not qualify for refunds under this section.
5. Subscriptions
- You may cancel a subscription at any time from the user console. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period; you continue to receive benefits until the end of that period.
- Subscription credits that have been granted for the current period are not refundable on a pro-rata basis.
- Where mandatory local consumer-protection laws (for example, EU/UK cooling-off periods) grant you additional cancellation rights, those rights prevail over this policy to the minimum extent required by law.
6. How to request a refund
- Email goaivelo@gmail.com from the address registered on your ColorizerAI account.
- Include: order number, transaction date, payment method, and the reason for the refund (mistaken purchase, service failure, etc.).
- For service-failure refunds, please attach the task ID(s) or screenshots of the error so we can verify the issue against our server logs.
We aim to respond to refund requests within 3 business days. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the conditions above or that we suspect to be fraudulent or abusive.
7. Payment-provider rules
Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. LinkMePay, Stripe). Each provider has its own dispute and chargeback procedures. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may delay resolution. We encourage you to email us first so we can resolve the issue directly.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated policy takes effect when posted on this page; the “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Purchases made before the update remain governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
